Arriving in style to continue to search for the nation’s hottest singing talent, Jennifer Lopez headed into the “American Idol” Hollywood auditions on Wednesday (December 18).

Wearing a pale pink shiny shirt and matching short skirt, the “Dance Again” songstress strutted inside alongside fellow judge Keith Urban and host Ryan Seacrest.
On Tuesday, the 44-year-old star took questions from fans for the show, answering what it’s like to be back on “Idol.”

In a video reply, J-Lo shared, “It’s, first of all, really flattering and at the same time, you know, something that you feel like…it’s like when you let something that you love go and it comes back to you. You know it’s kinda like, oh, maybe I was supposed to do this again.”

Over the weekend, Jennifer‘s commercials for Kohl’s aired during the 2013 American Music Awards. There were four that aired throughout the show.

“I had so much fun making these commercials!!! Big thanks to all of you and Kohl’s, your Twitter votes helped me get to the American Music Awards!!” Jennifer wrote on her Facebook account.

I added some amazing pics of Jennifer behind the scenes of shooting the commercials. You should check them out for sure. I placed them in the photoshoots section, since some outtakes are stunning and look like a professional photoshoot.

Perhaps using a little of her own life experience to play a cougar on screen, Jennifer Lopez filmed “The Boy Next Door” in Monterey Park in Los Angeles on Tuesday (November 26).

The former “American Idol” judge wore a dark plaid coat, ripped blue jeans, and brown ankle boots as she prepared to shoot a scene.

In the upcoming thriller directed by Rob Cohen, a divorced woman’s affair with the teen boy next door goes very wrong. Though he’s not exactly a teenager, JLo’s current real-life boyfriend, Casper Smart is 18 years her junior.

Continuing to shoot scenes for her latest project, Jennifer Lopez hit the set of “The Boy Next Store” on Sunday afternoon (November 17). The 44-year-old’s twins Max and Emme joined her on the Los Angeles set, where hot mamma Jen rocked a simple maxi skirt and a white top. In the flick, Lopez portrays a newly single mother who begins an affair with her teenage neighbor after he befriends her son. The Rob Cohen-directed flick is slated to hit theaters in 2014.

Thanks a bunch to Claudia for donating over 50 images of Jennifer on set!

She’s always up for a challenge, and Jennifer Lopez just signed on to lend her voice to the forthcoming animated feature “Home.”

The “Jenny From The Block” songstress joins an impressive roster that includes Jim Parsons, Rihanna, and Steve Martin, and the film will be based on the critically-lauded book “The True Meaning of Smekday” by Adam Rex.

DreamWorks Animation has announced a November 26th, 2014 release date, and production on the project will begin next year.

Per a report from The Wrap, “Martin will voice Captain Smek, leader of the overly optimistic alien race known as the Boov, who take over Earth and begin to relocate the human race — convinced they’re doing them a big favor. Rihanna will voice a resourceful girl who avoids capture and unwittingly becomes the accomplice of a banished Boov. Lopez will play the girl’s mother.”

She loves to straddle the fence between music and movies, and Jennifer Lopez will once again appear on the silver screen in the forthcoming “The 33.”

Based on the true story of the 33 Chilean miners who spent 69 days trapped in a collapsed shaft, the movie will also star Antonio Banderas, Martin Sheen, and Rodrigo Santoro.

On the production end of things, Mikko Alanne and Jose Rivera will handle the writing duties, and Patricia Riggen has signed on to direct.

“The 33” will be the first big screen project for J. Lo since she starred alongside Jason Statham in “Parker” back in January.

During a recent interview with Rob Marciano of Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer Lopez revealed that her upcoming ABC Family television show highlighting lesbian moms, “The Fosters,” which she executive produces, is an homage to her late lesbian aunt.

The Bronx born actress, singer and producer explained to Marciano that the series is about complex contemporary families. “Although [the script] was about a non-traditional family and had some newer themes, it had some really basic themes as well about family and love and what’s really important in life,” said Lopez. “And life can be complicated and messy sometimes and not simple. It was really a true depiction of family in this day and age.”

Lopez attempted to hold back tears when she began speaking about her aunt who recently passed from cancer. The “If You Had My Love” singer said she thought of the plight her aunt faced while deciding to take on the executive producer role.

“I had an aunt who was gay. I lived with her and I loved her. She just passed away from cancer. I thought of her often when I was thinking about taking on this project and the prejudices that she faced.”

Lopez, who has played a lesbian character in the past, has frequently spoken out about her love for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in the past. In a 2010 interview with The Advocate she stated, “When it comes to gay marriage, I just believe in love. I believe that when two people find each other and love each other, they should be able to spend their lives together.”

“The Fosters” debuts on ABC Family on June 6.

One Million Moms tried to kill it before it even aired, but it looks like ABC Family’s new drama The Fosters is a go: The network has just launched a new promo for the Jennifer Lopez-produced series, which debuts June 3.

Following in the footsteps of Modern Family and The New Normal, The Fosters follows the lives of a same-sex family: Vice-principal Lena (Sherri Saum), her police-officer wife Stef (Meet the Parents’ Teri Polo) and their three children. Also in the mix: Stef’s ex-husband and current partner, Joe (Danny Nucci).

The show’s press site gives a little more detail:

The Fosters is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Stef Foster (Teri Polo), a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams (Sherri Saum), a school Vice Principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon (David Lambert), and their adopted twins, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Jesus (Jake T. Austin).

Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie (Maia Mitchell), a hardened teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in and out of foster homes. Lena and Stef warily welcome Callie into their home thinking it’s just for a few weeks, until a more permanent placement can be found.
