Share on FacebookJennifer Lopez calls her boyfriend “Bear”. The singer-come-actress has been through three failed marriages, including her high-profile split from Marc Anthony. Now the 43-year-old has found love with backing dancer Casper Smart – and has even given him a cute nickname.
“I call him ‘Bear’, because he is a bit like a bear,” she revealed to British magazine Look.
“It wasn’t something I was looking for, but he’s very smart and outgoing and we hit it off. It happened very naturally. I used to like the bad boys, but that’s not a winning formula.”
Despite Casper being 18 years her junior, the couple has enjoyed a successful relationship for just under a year. And J-Lo’s friendship with Marc hasn’t suffered – the star is still on civil terms with the father of her four-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
“We’re [her and Marc] are doing good, and we’re proud of that and how we’ve handled this,” she explained.
“You never want to break up a family. That wasn’t my dream? but you feel it’s the better choice. We have love for each other and always will. We were friends before and we’re friends now. Thank God that hasn’t changed.”
