Jennifer Lopez went for the whole “bronzed goddess” look in her new music video for “Live It Up,” which she shot in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday. The 43-year-old donned a nude swimsuit that nearly matched her tanned and glowing skin, causing us to do a quick double take to make sure the star wasn’t actually sunning in the buff.

Jennifer Lopez Rushed to Safety After Gunshots Fired on Music Video Set
by Aniek on May 6th, 2013 • Categories: News & Updates • Comments: 0
Share on FacebookJennifer Lopez’s day at the beach took a scary turn on Sunday, May 5, when gunshots were reportedly fired in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where the singer was filming a music video with Pitbull for their hit song “Live It Up.” Immediately after the shooting, Lopez was rushed to safety.
Entertainment Tonight correspondent Rob Marciano, who was interviewing the star at the time of the incident, wrote about the shots on Twitter. “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away,” he tweeted.
A few minutes later, he added: “Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street…Police confirming: ‘Shots fired. No one hit.’ Whew.”The shooting interrupted what had been, to that point, a fun-filled afternoon for Lopez and her crew. Earlier in the day, the mom-of-two flaunted her tanned, toned physique in a sexy halter-style peach swimsuit, which she paired with tangerine lipstick and an orange manicure. She looked smoking hot as she stretched out on a white beach chair just steps away from the ocean.
The 43-year-old singer also modeled a printed green beach cover-up over a black bikini. Accompanied on set by boyfriend Casper Smart, she and some dancers/extras hit the surf, laughing and waving their arms in the air as waves crashed around them.

Jennifer Lopez’s Lesbian Aunt: ‘The Fosters’ TV Show Inspired
by Aniek on Apr 29th, 2013 • Categories: News & Updates, The Fosters • Comments: 0
During a recent interview with Rob Marciano of Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer Lopez revealed that her upcoming ABC Family television show highlighting lesbian moms, “The Fosters,” which she executive produces, is an homage to her late lesbian aunt.
The Bronx born actress, singer and producer explained to Marciano that the series is about complex contemporary families. “Although [the script] was about a non-traditional family and had some newer themes, it had some really basic themes as well about family and love and what’s really important in life,” said Lopez. “And life can be complicated and messy sometimes and not simple. It was really a true depiction of family in this day and age.”
Lopez attempted to hold back tears when she began speaking about her aunt who recently passed from cancer. The “If You Had My Love” singer said she thought of the plight her aunt faced while deciding to take on the executive producer role.
“I had an aunt who was gay. I lived with her and I loved her. She just passed away from cancer. I thought of her often when I was thinking about taking on this project and the prejudices that she faced.”
Lopez, who has played a lesbian character in the past, has frequently spoken out about her love for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in the past. In a 2010 interview with The Advocate she stated, “When it comes to gay marriage, I just believe in love. I believe that when two people find each other and love each other, they should be able to spend their lives together.”
“The Fosters” debuts on ABC Family on June 6.

Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull Re-Team Once Again For ‘Live It Up’ Single

Share on FacebookNext month, the third annual “Jennifer Lopez summer anthem featuring Pitbull and produced by RedOne” will be unleashed onto pop radio.
“Live It Up,” Lopez’s next single, will be released on May 8, and indeed feature a Pitbull guest spot as well as production from RedOne. The track will lead Lopez’s eighth studio album, which will also feature appearances from Chris Brown and Future and is due out later this year.
The trio of Lopez, Pitbull and RedOne has previously collaborated on Lopez’s 2011 hit “On The Floor,” taken from her last full-length “Love?,” and on last year’s “Dance Again,” from her “Dance Again… The Hits” compilation. “On The Floor” and “Dance Again” have respectively sold 3.8 million and 1.2 million downloads according to Nielsen SoundScan, placing the forthcoming “Live It Up” squarely in the “if it ain’t broke…” line of pop production.
In the meantime, Lopez is promoting “The Fosters,” an upcoming drama series on ABC Family that focuses on a same-sex couple raising several adoptive children. The show, on which Lopez serves as an executive producers, is set to premiere on June 3.

Jennifer Lopez’s Lesbian Family Drama, ‘The Fosters’ Trailer
by Aniek on Apr 21st, 2013 • Categories: News & Updates, The Fosters • Comments: 0
One Million Moms tried to kill it before it even aired, but it looks like ABC Family’s new drama The Fosters is a go: The network has just launched a new promo for the Jennifer Lopez-produced series, which debuts June 3.
Following in the footsteps of Modern Family and The New Normal, The Fosters follows the lives of a same-sex family: Vice-principal Lena (Sherri Saum), her police-officer wife Stef (Meet the Parents’ Teri Polo) and their three children. Also in the mix: Stef’s ex-husband and current partner, Joe (Danny Nucci).
The show’s press site gives a little more detail:
The Fosters is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Stef Foster (Teri Polo), a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams (Sherri Saum), a school Vice Principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon (David Lambert), and their adopted twins, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Jesus (Jake T. Austin).
Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie (Maia Mitchell), a hardened teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in and out of foster homes. Lena and Stef warily welcome Callie into their home thinking it’s just for a few weeks, until a more permanent placement can be found.
